OpenText buys Liaison Technologies

Business software company OpenText, based in Waterloo, ON, has entered into an agreement to acquire Liaison Technologies of Alpharetta, GA. The company specializes in cloud-based enterprise application integration and data management software. OpenText will use the acquisition to expand its business-to-business, application-to-application and data management capabilities The purchase price is approximately $310 million. The deal is expected to close within three months, subject to regulatory approval.
